Historia de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los ultimos dias de la rama de San Marcos Hgo, 1934.

This manuscript is a photocopy of a handwritten document. Its author was Guadalupe Monroy, but the record is in the hand of Rosa Jimenez Vda de Montoya because of the clarity with which she wrote. The material for the bulk of the contents of the source comes from the author's own memories and from the correspondence of her brother Rafael Monroy who served as first counselor in the branch presidency. Valuable information was also given by Anando Paez Cano who was one of the first converts in Mexico to be baptized into the Mormon faith. The record starts from the foundation of the Mormon Church in Mexico in the 1860s to the time of the composition in 1934. The material gives details about many of the visiting authorities of the Mormon Church including synopses of the talks they delivered. There is also an account of the persecutions suffered by the members of the Mormon church and materials relating to the members of the branch and to its various functions.
